María José Corbelle is a Buenos Aires-based freelance illustrator and Image & Sound Designer.
Since graduating from the University of Buenos Aires in 2007, she has explored various creative fields, ultimately finding her true voice in drawing her emotions. In 2016, she launched her project, Doña Batata, where she developed a signature aesthetic defined by soft pastel palettes and 90s nostalgia. Specializing in digital illustration, motion graphics, and textile art, she creates colorful visual universes that blend playful charm with professional precision.
